Month 4- This is where the honeymoon phase ends in the relationship, and reality starts to set in. You start to notice things about each other that get on each others nerves. You start to recognize each other flaws. This is when you decide whether or not you can deal with this person’s faults.
Month 5- This is where you start discussing the future. You and your mate should be wanting to merge your lives together. You probably want to start living together, and co-mingling larger parts of your lives. This is where discussions about marriage and children should happening. This is the phase where the two of you are figuring out where you want your relationship to be in the upcoming year.
Month 6- This is where the love the two of you have created is leading the relationship. You should be exclusive, and ready to start living as couple. You should be openly saying that you love each other. You should have met family members, friends, and other important people in each other lives. You should be prepping for the future together. Your relationship in six months is what the rest of your partnership is going to be like for as long as it lasts.
By month six of a relationship the two of you should be certain of the relationship that you have. You should want to be more committed to each other, and taking steps to make the relationship stronger. The love that you have for one another should be defining the commitment the two of you have together. If by month six your relationship isn’t serious, or moving in that direction you may be risking spending years in a relationship that won’t result in marriage or a family.
